   Our Teaching Strategies and Methods
For achieving imperceptible influence and effectiveness, we emphasise student-teacher interaction in classroom, promote student-centred teaching models, encourage and ensure every individual to participate in learning activities, incorporate Heuristic Teaching Method, Situational Simulative Teaching Method and Multiple Intelligence Theory, to provide a wide space for students’ self-presentations and holistic development.
  
Through continuous research, exploration and accumulation, we have summed up a set of teaching strategies and methods proven the most effective, advanced and flexible, to strive for the teaching objectives in rapidly improving performance and abilities, inspiring interest and creativity, stretching potential and thinking, cultivate confidence and characters, and enlighten wisdom and life.

1. Interactive Teaching Method with multimedia technology

3. Situational Simulative Teaching Method

  • Motivates students to be involved in learning actively, enjoy pleasure and experience success in a happy and challenging atmosphere.

  • Inspires students to learn about communication, cooperation, decision making, etc. and help them to improve thinking skills of comprehension, creativity, imagination, etc.

4. Multiple Intelligence Theory

  • Ingeniously integrates into teaching and learning.

  • Effectively mobilizes multi-sensory to participate in learning activities.

  • Practically promotes the comprehensive development of multiple intelligence in linguistic, logical, spatial, observational, interpersonal, etc.

5. Progress Management Systems for all levels motivate students’ passion, initiative and independence in learning, help them achieve consistent progress in studies and academic performance, and develop positive habits for their lifelong learning. The systems include the followings –

  • Integrated Motivating System “I love stars, stars know me” (“我爱小星星,星星知我心”) created by our principle, is unique, effective and engaging in inspiring the students’ interest, motivating their initiative and develop their good habits. Due to its significant effectiveness in managing progress, it has been very popular and enjoyable among the children.

  • Filing System aims to develop students’ independence, nurture their good learning habits and train their organisational skills. All students are expected to organise and file their worksheets properly to facilitate their learning and revision effectively.

  • Marking System helps the students to do their best in work. Effective feedback, comments and guidance are given as soon as possible to ensure the students to benefit from each marking and keep their progress on track.

  • Progress Report System provides every individual with reports of performance, including test/exam results, teachers’ comments, etc. for the parents and students to learn more about their progress, so that to enhance student learning.

情境模拟教学法创设了生动有趣的生活场景,提供了丰富多彩的实践活动,为学生在课堂与真实世界之间建立了一条连接的纽带,从而促使学生在快乐和富有挑战的氛围中积极参与,主动学习,享受乐趣,体验成功,在实践中学习沟通、合作及决定等技巧,提高理解、创意及想像等能力。

 

多元智能教育理论巧妙地融入教学中,有效地调动学生的各种感官参与学习活动,切实促进语言、逻辑、空间、观察、人际等多种智能的全面开发。

具有促进与激励作用的综合进步管理体系,激发了学生学习的主动性与独立性,帮助学生在学业上获得持续性的进步,同时也为学生的终身学习培养了良好习惯。
